In addition to wirelessly synchronizing e-mail, attachments, calendar and contacts, this edition of RoadSync supports new mobility features added in Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Service Pack 2 (SP2) such as: Direct Push Technology, Remote Wipe, Global Address List Lookup and IT Policy Enforcement."</i><br /><br />It seems they added just about everything a Windows Mobile 5 device got with MSFP. The only material difference I can see between a WM5 MSFP enabled device and a WM2003SE device with the DataViz RoadSync client is the lack of task synchronization, and that was not an MSFP feature. You should be able to <a href="http://www.dataviz.com/purchase/wheretobuy/index.html">find it at one of the DataViz resellers</a> for around $49.99.

Okay, so I installed it on my hw6515c, and we'll see how it goes. I was using the sms push before to get my corporate and personal email sent to my handheld, but that required me to have an unlimited text messaging bucket on my cell phone plan.

If this works, it will save me $10 a month, so it easily will pay for itself. I'm running the thirty day trial now (btw, I love companies that offer the trial....this way I don't get screwed out of 50 bucks if it doesn't work well).

Gotta ask this because I've never seen it work - does WM5 and Exchange Activesync support tasks? I was able to check it when I first set up my sync, but it disappeared after that and then I wasn't able to select it again. I'd love to have tasks work with Exchange rather than need to pull out my USB cable or sync via bluetooth.

Yes. WM5 has always supported task sync with Exchange 2003 as long as Exchange has SP2 applied. MSFP on the WM5 device is not required.
