Motorola Q question about applications

I'm thinking of buying a Motorola Q. Can you run some of Windows Mobile 5.0 applications on the Q? Or do they have to be smartphone only?

I had some pocket PC applications that worked great on the Palm, and don't really require a touch screen. Will they work on the Q?

No, only Smartphone apps can run on the Q. You may be able to find Smartphone compatible versions of some PPC apps, though.
