Help please

Hi, i was wondering if anyone could help or have had the same problem?

ive recently bought a ipaq rx3700 and sometimes when i turn it off and on again, the stylus does not work on the screen and i cant use it. I'ts quite tempremental as sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. It also winds me up when i cant use it, is there a setting or anything along them lines that can stop this happening?

Any help would be appreciated.

I've never owned that model, but here's what I'd try:

Do a soft reset.
Go to START>SETTINGS>SYSYEM tab, then tap on Screen to re-align the screen.

If those don't fix things, you may have a bad touchscreen that needs to be replaced.

its definatly not the touchscreen because that works fine when the stylus works, and i have tried the soft reset and alignment. hmmm there must be a setting or something along them lines?

Do you have a screen protector placed on to your screen? That may be interfering with its operation.

If indeed you have nothing on there, and you've tried a hard reset (last resort), then it's likely that you do have a faulty touchscreen (even though it works half the time), and it would be a good idea to contact HP, or even a third-party repair shop like Pocket PC Techs, to get it replaced.
