I use my E830 constantly. After a couple of years of general abuse, the case is cracking and breaking in the corners (much to my annoyance). Anyone know of a way to get a replacement case - aside from buying a second PDA :-)

Have you tried calling Toshiba support?

Not yet - I'm in the USA and they never sold the E830 in the USA ... so I figure support will be somewhere between little and laughter :-(

Toshiba Canada supports the e830, as it was sold here. I should know, I had one that needed to be serviced a couple of times. If you know someone in Canada, have them do it for you.

As far as I can remember the e830 had the same international warranty that all toshiba laptops come with so getting Toshiba to help you even though it was never sold in the states should not be an issue. Anyway when you call tech support (even from the states) you get the tech support centre located in Ontario.
