Hi! I currently have a Netgear box which I am happy with except for one thing: My ISP provides a proxy server which has an incredibly good and configurable content filter. Although I can set and lock down the proxy server settings very securely to provide a safe(r) surfing environment for my children, the weak point in the system is that there is no way to ensure that the proxy *has* to be used: If my children decide to go looking at stuff I don't want them to, then all they have to do is to go to the Internet Options settings in their browser of choice and uncheck the proxy server. I would like, therefore, to be able to set the proxy in the admin settings of the modem/router, such that all internet traffic - except VPNs - goes via the proxy. That way the setting is behind a password, it doesn't matter what the browser settings are and the whole system is a lot more secure. Can anyone recommend a bit of kit that will do this? Thanks.
