I don't think there is a comparable HP PDA to the Axim X50v -- HP no longer sells VGA-enabled Pocket PCs. The non-low-end iPAQs are the hx2000 series (http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/us/en/sm/WF04a/215348-64929-215381-314903-f67.html).

Janak is right, there's nothing HP makes that's on the level of the X50v/X51v. The best match to a mid-range device would be the iPaq hx2490.

There's nothing 'mid-range' to match an x50v/x51v - those are high-end devices (the fastest XScale processor, the most RAM, and VGA screens are NOT mid-range products). As others have noted, the hx2000 series is a close match for the x50 or x51 at their equivalent CPU levels (412, 520).

I meant the best mid-range iPaq as compared to, say, a mid-range Axim.

Given the original poster was talking about the x50v... that's the high-end Axim, so no equivalents exist among the HP line, at least not currently. You correctly pointed out the hx2000 series as being the closest-matched in terms of features, to the non-V Axims, however. :D

OK, guys, enough. The point has been made. Unless there is something to add to this conversation, I'd politely ask you to stop.

thanks!
