Seamlessly encrypts documents while they are being accessed by Pocket Word, Pocket Excel and other applications. You have every reason to be concerned about who has the access to the business data on your computer, and very much like having a vault on your hard drive, Sentry 2020 provides extremely strong security so no one but you can access your confidential information."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/web/2003/ekkie_sentry2020_PocketPC_200605.gif" /><br /><br />We <a href="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=33346">posted</a> on this solution back in 2004, but I'd say since that time, data encryption has become more and more of a security consideration for major corporations and enterprises. That's obviously where this solution is targeted at with a price of $49.95 for either the PC or Pocket PC solution and $84.95 for the bundle. If all you're trying to do is protect credit card information, then solutions such as eWallet, CodeWallet or FlexWallet will do the trick, but if you need broader protection for sensitive company documents, then this type of solution becomes much more viable. So what's your position?

The "Find" utility in WM5 is slow enough, especially when crawling through email. I cannot imagine what would happen if this had to sit between Find and the data decrypting each and every email.

Even though I use Sentry 2020 for Pocket PC every day, it hasn't caused any real slow down for me. One of the biggest reasons Sentry 2020 for Pocket PC works so well is that it encrypts and decrypts on the fly. I don't have to worry about decrypting a file then encrypting the file when I am done. It's a rock solid, dependable program.

PS The desktop version works seamlessly with the Pocket PC version.
