how to back up only contacts

My phone (xv6700) is acting strange ( i think i have been messsing with it too muc) and I want to do a hard reset but I dont want to lose my cantact info. I can re install everything ells this is the only thing i want so save. Any info?

Assuming you don't have a backup utility, easiest would be to sync contacts with your desktop, hard reset, re-establish partnership and re-sync
