Sure you can copy any Windows font to a Windows Mobile device and use it, but why not create your own? I decided to do just that and now have this pictured "looks cool on the big screen, but not so hot on the small screen" on my XV6700. You'll need the "My Font Tool for Tablet PC" power toy (and a Tablet PC, but you already knew that, right?) that you can get for free. Then, using the power toy, just write your letters and try not to have grade-school nightmares. Save your font on the Tablet PC, which will create a .ttf or True Type font file."</i><br /><br /><img src=http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/web/2003/myfont.jpg><br /><br />For those of us who are blessed with horrible handwriting, this cool feature probably isn't the best use of our time (Unless we want to create a cryptic, new language decipherable only to us). So if you're not cursed with horrible handwriting, perhaps you'd like to spend some quality time with a tablet PC to produce a font you could then use on your Pocket PC! For those of us celebrating Mother's Day today, this may also be a great last-minute gift. <i> I love you Mom, so much, I made this font for you </i>. This may only be acceptable if your mom is a geek though...

Hmm, this is a completely useless tool for me

Looks like something cool to do when your bored, but I have no use for it.

Bah. I started using Pocket PCs and Tablets explicitly so I could have my handwriting converted to Times New Roman.

(not really, but I really, really hate my handwriting.)

Besides, would you use this font (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/media/users/3482/ctm.ttf.jpg) (save as, remove the .jpg extension but leave the .ttf extension) on your device?

Update: I tweaked the font to make the individual strokes thicker and therefore slightly more readable.

I created my own handwriting font 10 years ago using Corel's .ttf export filter. Problem is, it's my handwriting from 10 years ago! I just can't get up the motivation to do it again...

It looks better than my handwriting font ;)

Hmm... Can you GPL (http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/gpl.html) a font?
