iPAQ H5550 - Restore from cold boot

Is there some way of making sure that settings are kept after doing a cold boot. I have another CE.Net device and can use a product called REGSAVE to save the registry settings, which is used to restore.

Is there something similar, or indeed another way of doing this for the iPAQ which uses PocketPC 2003.

You could use a backup application such as Spb Backup (http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/products/backup/?en) and do a selective backup and restore of the registry.

Or you could go for Tascal Regedit (http://www2r.biglobe.ne.jp/~tascal/download/pocketpc/tre_e.htm) which allows partial/full export/import of the registry - and it's freeware to boot.
