The mobile veiwer allows only one PPC to be registared, unlike the desktop viewer which can be loaded on as many PCs as you want.

Does anyone know if this will be adjusted in the future? My wife will get upset with me if only I can watch tv on my pocket pc, be she can't on hers. And yes, I will be registering mine before she registers hers!

Hmmm. I wonder why they put so much emphasis on making money off the PPC client but give the desktop client away for free? You would think that Sling would want to make as many clients available without hassle for as many OS's as they can.

I thinl it's because Sony charge for their PC client on LocationFree and it's a feature not everybody wants.

I'm just waiting for a proper PAL version of either.

I picked up s Slingbox today in Canada on a price match with Dell's Deal of the Day.
Being as it is the 28th and two days past the deadline I thought I would register my Slingbox and try for the free reg code even at 2 days past the deadline.
It still worked

The quality of the picture is average at best, and I think this is due to the limitation on my MDA (slow processor and screen resolution), even when I am connected to my wireless network. However, picture on the desktop is simply stunning.
