My 1910 is suppose to have a 5 volt battery but I found that it has a 3.7 volt battery in it will that lead this to a major problem. Thank you for any assistance you can offer. I'm still new to this whole pocket pc.

I was also wondering if their is a separte quaartz battery also. If so
how often do they need to be replace.

Thank you.

No worries - the 5v in/3.7v out battery is standard. Most any Windows Mobile device will have the same thing. Why? First, you need a higher current to actually charge the battery. Second, it allows the battery to maintain a constant current, despite input fluctuations. Third, it allows you to actually use your PDA, while charging the battery at the same time.

A NiMH backup battery is available in most recent Windows Mobile devices (say over the last three years) - but it is not user replaceable.
