The software seems fairly simple to setup and use, and you can't beat free. Head on over to the emoze site to learn more and get started.

I've tried it out and it works as advertised. Once connected to an Internet connection it'll retrieve my Outlook email from work in about 30 seconds. Not bad.

The only drawbacks to this is 1) battery life on my Axim (or any other PPC) prohibits from using this for more than a few hours and 2) there's no wireless Internet connection available wherever I go

It's no blackberry but works fairly well.

Just wondering, can you use this over wifi or it only uses GPRS for data? I wouldn't mind using this with my WM5 phone if it doesn't uses GPRS to retrieve e-mail's.

The problem with this is that it insist on having ActiveSync installed, rather than just having an independet Outlook plug-in that simply forward the email.

I use a separate laptop for work and since I don't sync with my work Outlook (ActiveSync can't do selective sync), it simply won't work.

Actually, I installed ActiveSync at my laptop at work, but don't sync and install eMoze applicaiton, but eMOze just hang and just kept on crashing UNLESS I create an ActiveSync partnership at my work laptop.

Oh well...

Thank the lord for Outlook Backup! This would have happened to me too - but to my Agenda instead! The software recommends that you delete entires off the device to avoid duplications and then only sync's 7 days worth of diary and dumps the rest to the deleted folder! Great! It also crashed several times. Have needless to say dumped the pigging thing and reisntalled my Outlook Backup.PST!

Don't know what about you guys but for me this emoze thing…just works perfect. Since I’ve installed emoze on both my PC and PPC I can run my entire office from the local Starbucks at the corner of my road. My entire emails from work are being smoothly delivered into the PPC in conjunction with my PIM being remotely synchronized with my workstation at work. As for support in Lotus Notes, I’ve asked the company same question on behalf of my wife and her Nokia 6080 :) and have been kindly told by them that their next version to come (emoze 1.1) will support Lotus Notes…somewhere in May. As a final thought, it’s FREE, it’s FAST, and it seems to support great variety of devices and platforms… I just wish I could have some more reliable and valuable apps for free like this one to thunder up my tech curiosity in this peaceful Easter.
Have a great Easter

I've tried Emoze and I can tell that it's not a true Push Mail solution. The way they want you to download your email is the same as the function already present on every devices in the messaging options which, once configured, will establish connection at certain intervals to download your emails. I've contacted emoze about that and they sent a reply yesterday. I posted the story on my blog at Http://Pocketpcmauritius.blogspot.com/.

If you check out the account settings, you will see that they have an option in "check intervals" for always on/Push. I used the competition and this works way faster. I assume they choose this default for your battery life. And second, this is probably the easiest setup available. it took me 5 min to get mysef up and running.

I give them 2 thumbs up :rock on dude!:
