Transcriber function not working

I've only had my Pocket PC for a few weeks and when I first got it the transcriber function worked great. It recognized all my poor scribbling which was really impressive. Now for some reason I can't seem to write anything that it recognizes even if I write very clear. Is there something that can be done to restore my settings or is this just a quirky thing with my Pocket PC? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Have you set Transcriber's orientation correctly?

Assuming you're using Windows Mobile 5.0, tap the first icon in the Transcriber toolbar and note the "Writing Direction" option in the "Quick Settings" tab. Make sure it's set the right way up, or you're bound to get some quirky results.

Does that help? If not, you can also train it by selecting the "Inking" tab and tapping on the "Match Letter Shapes to your Writing" link.

That worked. Thanks. I guess I changed the writing direction and forgot about it so when I changed it back to the original setting it started working again.
