Way too much screen area is taken up by things other than the map! On PPC's (particularly those with only 2.8" screens) this is going to be a serious problem for users. The need for and time taken looking closely at the display at complicated road junctions could be a significant driving distraction when driving authorities are already concerned that in car GPS systems, like mobile phones, are already a safety problem. The way things are going I wouldn't be at all surprised to see a ban being introduced by some countries on graphical GPS display systems in favour of purely vocal instructions. These software manufacturers need to think about this and keep the front end as clear as possible! In this respect TomTom Navigator 5 does the job more concisely IMO and Destinator could learn from that.

Yuck! The new interface is butt ugly!. Perhaps this is a smartphone version as it is very cluttered.

I agree not enough screen real estate used by the actual map.

I use version 3 and it is far better on the eye than that.

The buttons on the bottom are much smaller on v3.
