From what I've seen, it greatly enhances picture quality, with white balance and low-light improvements all round.

Dunno if this is off-topic, but I've searched the site to no avail. Is there a patch for the HP hw6515 camera software? whenever I use the video function, it does one video and then it will hang when I start taking the next video.

Choosing the main memory as the destination to save the videos didn't solve the problem (I had previously set the safe destination as a folder in my SD card).

Help!! :(

Thanks

Your best bet would be the latest ROM update (http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/HandheldiPAQ/us/download/23570.html). If you already have it installed, try hard resetting your device (without a subsequent restoration of data and settings).

Your problem sounds software-related, but there is a chance that it is hardware-related. A hard reset will allow you to tell which of the two it is.

Hi and thanks very much for such a prompt reply! :D (wish I could say that about myself  )

Anyway, I've yet to try the hard reset. I'm new to this; wouldn't the hard reset wipe out everything and reset the PPCphone back to factory default?

I've done a backup of my PPC and will try the ROM update first. I'll do a hard reset as my final resort.

Thanks!

Correct, a hard reset does restore your Pocket PC back to factory default settings. Bear in mind that a ROM update does that too.

The Backup software can restore your entire system backup from hard reset. And I knew that only Sprite Backup (http://www.spritesoftware.com/)can do a restore after any ROM upgrade. and you might want to try that to save you heaps time.
