As with the Universal upgrade (http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/index.php?blog=3&title=new_i_mate_jasjar_htc_universal_rom_is_o&more=1) and the i-mate k-jam update (http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/index.php?blog=3&title=i_mate_has_just_posted_the_official_worl&more=1), the excellent XDA-Developers folks (http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?p=247610) were the first to announce the availability of the new, official, Qtek ROM upgrade for the Qtek 9100 (HTC Wizard). This is great news for all Qtek 9100 users that don't want to unlock their CID of their device to be able to use non-Qtek ROM's.
Get it from your preferred Qtek site. No links given as they all require IMEI-based logins. The official update will hopefully be also hosted officially by generic PDA sites - as was the case with the 1.6.7.1 upgrade.
Unfortunately, the upgrade, as with the i-mate one, doesn't support Hi-Fi sound transfer but, of course, it supports Push Mail.
