I am interested to know if one could do powerpoint presentations with 8125. Any input is highly appreciated.
Thank you.

Your 8125 ships with Windows Mobile 5.0, which includes PowerPoint Mobile. Unfortunately, this only allows you to view presentations, not create and edit them.

To do the latter, you'll need a third-party application such as ClearVue Presentation: http://www.westtek.com/pocketpc/presentation/

You can also use Pocket Slides(though it requires desktop conversion).
I have used Clearvue presentation too, but, IMO, Pocket Slides offers much more functionality

Thank you for the responses. I should have been clearer. I have the viewers but needed to know if any hardware was available to project the slides through a slide projector. I use my Hx 4700 with VGA CF card from IA presenter. But, I can not use it on 8125 (if I buy one) as it does not have a CF slot.
Whereas, Dell has some VGA bundle for $44 which can only be used with Axims though. So, I was wondering if any alternatives were available for 8125, if I would consider buying it to replace my pocket pc + cell phone.
Thank you once again.

I recall about a year ago, I saw a bluetooth box that connected to a projector - you could display your PDA screen through it. I can't seem to find it now, and it was awful expensive at the time.

Sorry if this isn't much help.

It's called the iGo Pitch Duo. Microsoft used it at 3GSM a few months back. Alas, it's a tad expensive.

I notice that solution does support PPC, but since it does require software on the device, I'd make darn sure it supported WM5 before I plunked down any cash.

Agreed. Though if it's of any help, Microsoft demo'ed the unit at 3GSM with an O2 Xda Atom. Either the drivers support Windows Mobile 5.0 by default, or Microsoft was using a tweaked driver set.

Thank you all for the information. Bluetooth based are expensive, I wished we had what Dell had done for axims'.
