Do you carry your PDA in a case or naked? I've carried it around in a jacket pocket a couple of times but the huge unprotected screen makes me nervous. So now I'm looking for a case for my Axim X30, and I'm lost. I don't know where to buy, what kind is the best, how much to pay, etc etc.

I'm looking at the Boxwave Aluminum one, and it looks snazzy enough, but I don't want my PDA to become huge and I'd prefer to pay around $20-25. Any recommendations? What do you use?

Mine is one of the nice Sena Cases:

BTW, I reviewed it a few months ago here (http://www.pocketpcaddict.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=5801&highlight=sena)

Well, don't get mine, but its the basic Dell slip case. I'm getting a new one soon so I'm shopping around like you. :)

I found this Rhinoskin case as well - $9.95 + 6 shipping. Not too bad. Plus Rhinoskin is an established company, isn't it? The case looks kinda busy compared to the Boxwave one though, i don't like the embossing and the indentations. Plus I'll never use a belt clip.

I do like the two SD card slots in the case itself, but I only have one SD card, which stays in the Pocket PC all the time :)

Yep, they are established, I've been using a Rhinoskin Titanium on my X5 for around 2 years. Very pleased with it over all.

I got mine from ebay! This is the guy's store, he has aluminum cases for everything, including a Sony walkman and iPod.

It looks like the same case as the Boxwave one I posted, and he isn't using his reputation to overcharge for the case. Plus he was quite friendly in his emails. I got the case and car charger package.

I am using the basic Dell slip case, and then, I put my PDA into my Roots carry all:

The carry all is big enough to also take my Beklin IR wireless keyboard as well, and clips onto my belt. It is a nice touch.

My case and car charger came in today, and i have to say WOW, what great service. Paid on Wednesday and received on Friday. The case feels high quality, but I'd have been disappointed if I had paid $30 for it which Boxwave was offering. The car charger was a nice bonus, I haven't tried it yet.

Would definitely recommend.

I carry my x30 in my pocket unprotected. Never had a problem. It's a very sturdy unit.

I use a Vaja iVolution Morpheus IV case. It looks and smells awesome, and it adds an amazing amount of protection to my baby.

I use a Vaja classic for my 4700. Have a Sena but stopped using it when the SD cards fell out (the opening faces down!) Also got a nSignia Stingray which I've never used. Would get an iVoloution like a shot if they did one for the 4700.
