We don't have a full list of specs just yet, but what is known is that this Pocket PC is equipped with a 3.8" VGA (640 x 480) display, integrated GPS, a DVB-T tuner, an oh-so-lovely 20GB hard disk, and Windows Mobile 5.0. What? Are you drooling already? ;)

Pretty awesome, Darius. 20GB hard drive makes this stand out from the other Pocket PCs out there. I doubt the DVB-T tuner would do you any good in the US though. While devices like this are being phased out most everywhere, it's like a breath of fresh air to see someone fill in the gap. I do expect UMPCs to overtake the business of hardcore Pocket PCs such as this though. (as if you didn't expect a UMPC reference).

I don't quite understand this.
I had to put up a massive aerial to get DVB-T signals in my house, and I don't live in a particularly bad signal area.
What chance have I got that this will pick up a decent signal on a portable aerial?

On the other hand, if I have to plug into an aerial socket, I will find on 99% of occasions that it is already connected to a TV. How many aerial sockets do you know of that are just waiting for something to be plugged into them?

So, either DVB-T signals are vastly stronger in other parts of the world, or this doesn't seem that useful to me from a TV point of view.

They finally made it! Cool. This is the media related device I have been expecting FSC to make. Where does the line start!

i dont like the device at all.
if a device fits in your pocket, than the device is mobile. if not, you have to carry the device in a bag. i carry my notebook in a bag. so what is the point of carying a device like this when you have a notebook

I'm with Kowalski.

Anyways, on to the more pressing issue: Is that Franka Potente (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0004376/) in the screenshot? ;)

A size comparison. If its really a 3.8 screen then its about 15cm long and 9.5 cm wide. Here it is compared to an Axim.

A bit big, but luggable ;)

Great but I would rather have Origami if the size is about the same.

While it has great features for WM machine, I agree with Patrick Y. WIth this form factor I'll rather have Origami, roughly same size but real software and bigger screen with better resolution...

Another vote for the Origami.

I think it is just too big for what it is and that a 20gb hdd is just overkill on a Pocket PC of any size.

Now and Origami device of this size but with more screen and a decent price then that I might go for...

It's a nice form-factor to play games :D

What people seem to miss is that Origamis only get you 2-3 hours of battery life. This one probably doubles or triples this!

I don't think so. The maximum life of VGA PPC I know is around 2-3 hours too.
