Jason Dunn was able to get a prerelease version of the hw6900 and during the last two ThoughtCast programs we have discussed the features of the device including the devices style, general features, wireless, embedded GPS, battery life, keyboard functionality, and more. In the final part in the series we take a look at a few features we have not covered and a final look at the device.<br /><br /><img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/ppct-ipaq6900-preview-small-02.jpg" /><br /><br />Show notes:<br />• Review of the HP iPAQ hw6900.<br />• <a href="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/articles.php?action=expand,47056&amp;sid=6017606bceebe12fc8c5e1a951f16360">HP iPAQ 6900 Messenger Quick Look Photo Preview</a>.<br />• <a href="http://www.davespda.com/hardware/pdaphone/phoneedition/device.php?209">HP iPAQ hw6900 Specifications.</a><br /><br />Direct Link to this show: <a href="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/thoughtcasts/jasondave03132006.mp3">Download</a><br />RSS Feed: <a href="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/xml/thoughtcast.xml">PPCT ThoughtCast Feed</a><br />Support the Show: <a href="http://www.podcastalley.com/podcast_details.php?pod_id=8303">Vote @ Podcast Alley</a><br /><br />Got questions about the hw6900? Two questions for Jason:

You went from a 240x320 device to a 168x220-ish (I don't recall the exact SMT5600 resolution) device to a 640x480 device, to a 240x240 device. How're you're eyes? ;) That question doesn't count Seriously, what's your experience with your core apps at the different resolutions, particularly at 240x240?

And what are the physical dimensions of the hw6900 screen?

one comment on this thoughtcast. The version I have fully supports the Messaging and Security Feature Pack, such that my company allows push email and added security, like remote wipe, forced PIN onto the device etc etc
