the current version of ie on the mda will not let me go to gmail or search in google. what would be a better browser?

I am new to alot of this stuff, what are some of the major benefits of Opera compared to minimo and IE? Which one carshes the least

That's odd. I use IE on my WM5 Smartphone and I can happliy do both of those.

For gMail, try their mobile interface: http://m.gmail.com
(no www on that one either)

For Google, try http://www.google.com/pda

It's not the MDA, it's T-Mobile. When I hook up with WiFi, I can get to both. Just for testing purposes, I tried to do it on my Axim hooked up through T-Mobile and a Bluetooth phone and couldn't get on either, but as soon as I hooked it up to my WiFi, I was on.

There's probably something off with T-Mobile's routing, but it's definitely not an MDA specific problem.[/i]

Opera is MUCH faster and renders a LOT pages far better than PIE. And, it's tabbed. There's simply no comparison.
