Intel announced the Monahans in August 2005 by demonstrating a new PXA29x processor clocked at 1.25GHz. Furthermore, NVIDIA announced the <a href="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=46420">GoForce 5500</a> last month, with some very impressive power to go with it. With these two combined, we could be looking at a new wave of Pocket PCs (and other handhelds) that may potentially leave the Dell Axim X50v/X51v out to dry.
