Posted this in the Dell support forums, but got no responses.

"have a Dell Axim X30. I previously was using WEP and decided to upgrade my network to WPA.

So, I removed the profile, added the new profile, chose WPA-PSK as the authentication and TKIP as the Data Encryption.

However, I can't figure out how to put in my WPA passkey. It tells me I am connected, however, my router just shows that the MAC IP is there, not a normal IP address.

How can I prompt it to ask me for my passkey to put in?

Thanks."

Not sure what the answer to your question is but you might try asking on the Axim pocket pc discussion list on Yahoo.

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Axim

You can search the large archive for answers and if you don't find a solution there, just ask the group. They very often have the answers or know where to find them.

Thanks for the tip. I joined up and searched for "x30 wpa" in all their posts. No hits.
I am checking aximsite.com now and a guy has the same problem as me but tells it a lot better:

His solution was to use Odyssey and that worked for me, although Odyssey doesn't allow for cut and paste of the key, so I had to enter my 63 character key manually. But now I am connected!!
