Have been waiting for the Ipaq 6915 for ever and found today that the first units are available in th UK by Expansys for the price of over $ 800.00 to shell out. :oops: Is the unit that much worth and will the price come down with a provider?

NEVER, EVER buy from Expansys - their service sucks, their prices fluctuate all over the place, and I've had one case of unauthorised credit card use when dealing with them. As for the price for the 69xx, trust me, Expansys charges a premium for new models - it'll come down.

There is no way Expansys will have stock in 7 days from now, the product is not released, it does not have a final shipping ROM yet. Once that is released there will be a delay as it gets ready to manufacture.

Not only Expansys has offred shipping, there are also at least 6 companies in the UK who offer the Ipaq's. Are you sure the ROM is not yet done?

Just did some more research on the price; Insight UK under $ 700.00. also end of the month or early April in Germany less than $ 600.00 excl. shipping (you have to deduct the 16 % VAT if shipped to the US from the price in Germany) Looking further
