This one is real easy. Use Fairuse Wizard. It's free and simple to use. Convert your dvds to AVI files. Make sure you choose the mp3 sound option or have the ac3 plugin installed. I choose the automatic configurations wherever possible. The main choice you have to make is the size of the video screen. I have a vga device so I choose as close to 640x480 as possible. If you have Qvga choose 320x240.

Once you do one you'll see how easy it is. It's time consuming, but all conversions are. There are 2 parts to this. The first part creates raw footage and the second part takes the raw footage and makes it into the AVI file. Very easy.

Let me know if you need help.

Pocket DVD Studio is outstanding! Simple for the novices, yet customizable for the more advanced. It is money well spent.

The best price is attained by using a credit card from the website

I've been using DVD-To-PocketPC for awhile now, and haven't had any problems. I like the fact that it's a one-step process and much faster than the others I've tried.

Does it always seem to lock up at the same time/place for you? Do you need to make sure you don't have any restrictions about files sizes on your PC?

PocketDivXEncoder is a great free tool with loads of options for fine-tuning the video output. http://divx.ppccool.com/

If you really like it, you can purchase an updated version called Lathe http://www.omniquiti.com/store_pde.html for the princely sum of $5.95
