How to get xv6700 right now?

I called Verizon Customer Service couple of weeks ago and see if I can trade my xv6600 for xv6700.

Since I had my xv6600 since June 2005, they said I am qualified to buy discount in June 2006 for $399. (not trade) Or I could wait till June 2007 to trade xv6700 at no charge.

I even can buy one now for $519 - ouch!

Is there a better way around to buy/trade my xv6600 for xv6700?

I might be interested in selling you my brand-new Audiovox XV6700. It was purchased three weeks ago and I have been complaining to Verizon ever since because of the lack of network coverage at my house. The phone works great and as advertised when I am in good network coverage.
