View Full Version : OGG Playback in PWMP?

Is there a codec download somewhere that will let you play .ogg files in the Pocket Windows Media Player that comes pre-installed with WM2003SE? I seem to have issues with every media player I download, either it doesn't support my playlists or it doesn't support my bluetooth headphones or it has some other problem that renders it useless to me. WMP is all around my first choice but I want to keep my music in the nice small .ogg format instead of clunky .mp3. I would use TCPMP but for some reason my device doesn't recognize TCPMP as being in use when playing audio files and shuts off after my battery timer expires (auto shut off if not used for 3 minutes). Can anyone offer a suggestion?

The Media Chart here: http://www.feederreader.com/mediachart.html
lists "Pocket Player 2" "iMusic" "PocketMVP" "TCPMP" "MortPlayer" and "GSPlayer" as players able to play ogg files.

Maybe one of those will work for you.

I know that on my WM2003SE device (a Pocket Loox 720) TCPMP will properly prevent shutdown during MP3 playback, but I haven't tried playing any ogg files.
