Hello,
just wondering if anyone has experience or tips regarding the following

1) capturing & storing XY coordinates (1m to 2m is enough)
2) adding attributes to each point (pre-defined lists of values would be nice)
3) importing my own vector and/or raster data for base maps

I have done this sort or work with GPS units, but if it can be done with smaller, handhelds, Tablet PCs or PDAs that wopuld be nice.

Thank you for your suggestions!!
