In some ways, the new SP310 is similar to the moboDA 3360 that was unveiled at Computex in 2005. This device has an Intel PXA270 520MHz processor, 64MB RAM, 64MB ROM (plus extra 128MB/256MB?), 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 1.2, integrated GPS, a 2.0-megapixel camera, an SDIO slot, quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support, and Windows Mobile 5.0. Unlike the moboDA 3360 though, the SP310 has a full QWERTY thumb-board.

Not yet, other than the possibility that an HSDPA version will be available at the start of... ahem, 2007.

I should point out that a standard EDGE version will probably be out this year. I'm unsure of the specifics, but as soon as I get more details, I'll keep you posted.

This would be my dream-type ppc phone, too. The 700w is awesome, but I don't like the square screen (too small and games/programs don't work) and I think the processor lags slightly at times. To include GPS and a 520 processor would be the ideal, in my mind. I hope it makes it to the street!

Almost perfect if it comes with a 1800mah battery.

520Mhz, SD slot, 802.11g, GPS, QVGA and keyboard, what a dream machine.

But well, P50 was a dream machine at that time too, 2 years release delay killed all specs.

looks a lot like my Benq P50, though with better specs

Wow. Now those are some nice specs. We're getting closer to what a perfect phone should be, at least IMO, but not quite there.

A few things I'd want to see in this phone (or a phone with these specs) is a VGA screen, 128MB RAM (I wish someone would offer 128MB RAM for once!), and SIRFstar III GPS (the phone is going to use A-GPS which is a shame).

Other than that, everything else on it looks fantastic!

A-GPS is not a shame, I am using one right now, it is just as good as SIRFstar 3.

All you perfect spec like VGA and 128MB RAM consume too much battery, which may not be pleasing for other people.

A-GPS... is just as good as SIRFstar 3.

Sorry, but I'm going to have to disagree with you there. It's certainly not just as good. Not by a long shot. But if it works fine for you, then great! Just not what I'm looking for.

All you perfect spec like VGA and 128MB RAM consume too much battery, which may not be pleasing for other people.

Bah! The battery would be just fine, and certainly nothing that a second battery couldn't cure if need be. But these are my wishes. And yes, not everyone wants the same things - but tell us something we don't already know. That's why we have variety - the spice of life! :)

Welcome to Pocket PC Thoughts.

can you tell me please the homepage of the company that manufactures this phone and where I can buy it

Here's the homepage: http://www.anextek.com/

Expansys (http://www.expansys.com/) is a good place to purchase AnexTEK Pocket PCs, although it's to my understanding that this particular model has been discontinued, so it may be a little hard to find.
