There is a new Radio ROM on O2 Site

it's still 20060123
but with an upgraded radio Version
Upgade is done easly.
Now Checksum Diagnostics test PASSES! :)

it's a NEW RADIO Update.

if you notice the Versions.

it's only out for two days, on o2 site.

the ROM DATE is the same but the RADIO is upgraded.

it resolves the Checksum error on the old radio.

I upgraded my wifes Atom a few days ago. Yes it has resolved some issues and the amount of memory now available for installing programs has been improved. However it seems to need recharging alot more frequent than it used to. She used to recharge it every 3 days but now it must be done at least once a day. Is anyone else having the same issue? And can you explain what is using so much power? The only apps installed is Magic Button which was on before and Rescoe Explorer. Cheers.

I did a bit more investigating. It appears that using a task manager was preventing the phone from turning off. I dont know why the phone was causing a power drainage but having turned it off it seems to be better.
