Loss of memory on axim x5

My friend and I have the same dell axim x5 and have all the same programmes on them, but mine has only half the memory capacity of hers. I've done a hard reset and cleared it of all programmes to see if that would restore the memory but it hasn't. Any ideas why this might be. my total main memory after hard reset is 31.34 where my friends is 64!!!! Is there anything I can do????[/quote]

Are you sure that's not the way it's supposed to be? There are two models of the Axim X5, one with 32 MB of RAM and a 300 MHz processor, and the other with 64 MB and a 400 MHz processor. The two are otherwise identical, you'd never know the difference to look at them.

You can look under settings -> system -> system information to see which one you have.

Thanks people it would appear I have the 300mhz and 32mb basic model and not the advanced model. Thanks for your suggesstion.
