If this would work on a Treo 700w, I know some folks who would REALLY appreciate knowing about this on Brighthand's Palm section and on MobileTechReview.

It will work - after all, the Treo uses exactly the same operating system.

Yup, you can - I've just posted two generic threads in those two forums because I didn't really find any related thread/question (at MobileTechReview, I've done a generic search for 'bluetooth modem' without any usable results); if you happen to know who asked the questions there, feel free to let them know. After all, this is very good news for all PPC PE users.

BTW, I used the EDGE connection of my HTC Wizard from my x51v the entire evening yesterday. It was blazingly fast after the 4-slot GPRS connection of my slowish S-E t610.
