Is this the built in mass storage device support in WM5 that was mentioned before WM5 was launched?... but hasn't been seen on any WM5 device so far...

And I thought this feature of WM5 gets totally forgotten by the OEMs....we need more of this on WM5 devices.

And I thought this feature of WM5 gets totally forgotten by the OEMs....we need more of this on WM5 devices.

Hopefully we could extract the required files from this asus device and reverse engineer it onto other devices since I'm pretty sure the implementation isn't very device specific.

True. Xda-developers is everyone's friend ;) (yeah, i know, A636 is not a HTC device but...I still think they can do something)

Care to clarify that remark? You really shouldn't make a claim like that without some proof. Have you had a bad experience with Asus support?

Or you could do it the right way -- learn the interfaces required from Windows Mobile 5 documentation and write a program to do it. I assume they must be documented somewhere.
