What makes this one different is its ability to go into "sleep" mode when there is no Bluetooth reception. When a Bluetooth device comes back into range (not sure if this is ANY Bluetooth device or specifically a paired Bluetooth device), it wakes back up and connects. According to i-Blue, the benefit is greater convenience (no need to power on or power off the device) with longer timespans required between charges.
