Saturday January 14th, Christian Micah was born. He was 8lbs 14ozs and 21" long.

The hospital we were in did not allow dial-up through its phone lines, so I had to use Verizon Wireless (115.2K) and the slowness was pretty rough! I can't wait to get back to my high speed connection so I can email out LOTS of pictures! At 115K it took 10 minutes for 4 pictures which were shrunk by Outlook!

When I see a baby, I see the physical manifestation of the concept of hope. I'm a "grampa", with my 7 year old grandson giving me a second chance to do what you're going to be doing the first time around. Blessings to you and your new little one!

Congratulations!! Your first??

The hospital we were in did not allow dial-up through its phone lines, so I had to use Verizon Wireless (115.2K)

Our hospital forbids any cell phone use. :-(

Congrats! Reminds me of when my son was born in 2001. I used my color Visor and land line modem at the hospital to send my "Its a boy" emails :)

Congratulations. Now is the time to baby-proof your home. That little one will be mobile soon and he will get into everything. Life will never be the same. Happy parenting.
