My iMate Jam was all fine till it froze and I took out a battery and it hard reset :(

Once up it was all fine like new...

But once I put on the latest image I had (Sprite Backup) all was like before except that I can not receive SMS (Text Messages) but I can send them...

I use T-Mobile as my provider.

Anything I can do to resolve this? Is this a known issue?

Any tips, tricks, links, suggestions are much appreciated ;)

Thank you all...

How old is this backup image? Between the time you created and restored the image, had you updated the ROM of the device?

Anyway, you might want to hard-reset and manually install your programs again. You can probably still restore the same backup image, but only selectively (i.e. PIM data, important files; but most importantly, leave programs out of the restore job). See if that solves anything.

I know the solution for ur problem(I'm too a magician user)

Do a hard reset.
Open sprite backup
Now in the 'restore' tab..expand other databases
Uncheck \PMAILDB2,\PMAILDB,pmailMsgs,pmailOldTables,pmailMsgClasses,
pmailNamedProps,
Now restore

You are done

**there seems to be a corrupt database
**WARNING: This will not restore any of ur messages

Negative, no ROM updates (image is only a few days old)

Darn I do not seem to have
"\PMAILDB2,\PMAILDB,pmailMsgs,pmailOldTables,pmailMsgClasses,
pmailNamedProps"
under "other databases"

I have:
StreetPoints
AF_ProjectDatabase
cidcach.db
\SyncCache
SyncStateMoves
IA_Photo_Contacts_Group
IA_Photo_Contacts
DB_notify_queue
\DesktopPositions
DB_notify_events
\MetabaseOptions
\MetabaseLabels
\ConfigMetabase

Any ideas?

Maybe it's because I have Sprite Backup 2.1.4
But I would not htink that they have such differences...
