I have an Axim 51V using TCPMP. I'm trying to decide if I should encode to 320x240 AVC Format, meaning Smaller files. Or go with the Native res of the screen and Encode to a 640x480 Xvid file. The xvid's might be slightly more detailed but they are larger.

If you have the space, go for the bigger files. I've done both - for a DVD rip the difference in quality is noticeable, but not so much you'd tear your hair out. On the other hand, the higher level of detail is very nice. I don't think you'd have much problem running the larger files with the Dell though.

i mean this is basically a decision you have to make yourself.

let's say you have 1gb. you can either choose say 4 movies to fill it up or 1 hq movie (assuming i'ts 4x bigger in file size). it's really up to you.

basically find out what you want/need to carry with you, and then proceed to maximize your use of space.

i dont' think anyone can tell you if oen show is worth getting axed over another with higher quality, other than you.
