First, welcome to PPCT :)

It's very easy to get the current text size: just read the value of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ControlPanel\Stylus\192DPI\CurFont from the Registry.


(BTW, you may want to use the forum search engine. The solution to this question was posted some 8-9 months ago, for example - see http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=40056 ).
