Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a way to connect to secured network, only public access points. At least not those that aren't broadcasing an SSID. I can't get it to see my home network unless I lower security measures and open the network. :?

I couldn't get it work with my secured site either. It stayed on my PPC less than 10 minutes before I removed it. Any other good WiFi sniffers around?

I don't think they work on WM5, unless you know differently.

Thanks!

Sorry I didn't know that you meant WM 5. I'll have a look around for you but I am not that hopeful :(

I know WiFiFoFum works on a PPC-6700, which runs WM5, and that MiniStumbler doesn't work. Since I haven't tried PocketWinc, I know nothing about that one.

In addition to being compatible with WM5, these utilities also have to recogize the wireless adapter in the device to work.

hmmm. This is working fine on my Samsung i730 (WM 2003 SE) for both unsecure and secure networks.
