Since all modern PDAs use LIon or LiPoly batteries - it doesn't matter. More important is to follow the general rules for maintaining these batteries, like making sure not to do deep discharges, top up the charge as often as possible, and make sure that you use it within the specified temp range (they don't like too hot or too cold!)

Well, AFAIMK quick charge is done when you plug-in the charger suplied into your pda(directly or thought cradle)

Slow charge is done when you perform usb-charging. Almost all the modern pdas support usb-charging

Quick charge and slow charge are terms used for nickel based batteries, not LIon. You can sort of speed up charging on LIon by applying higher current at lower battery charge levels (like your USB/wall wart example), but it won't effect total charge time by much, from what I've read. Have a look:
