I was wondering, what is the procedure of setting my DSL Modem up with a HP iPAQ model #rx 1950, Microsoft Mobile Version 5.0 OS 5.1.1702 (Build 14367.1.0.2) to run wirelessly? I have a SpeedStream modem model #5100. It was working perfectly last night then just stopped!

Well, you need a router first - since your Rx1950 has no CF slot to plug in an Ethernet card into, even if you had drivers which would work with the 1950. Then you'd set up the router to dial into the network, and then connect through that.

I have a router, but how would I set that up?

To connect to a "wireless" router, press the iPaq wireless button on the right side of the 1955. The top line says Status and default is Off. Tap the status button and it will turn on. If you don't have an encryption key set fot the router (open network), then it should connect and show you the IP address at the bottom of the screen. If the router connection is encrypted, then you will have to input the encryption key too. The blue light on top of the 1955 will be on to show the wireless transmitter is turned on.

Then you'd set up the router to dial into the network, and then connect through that.

Since you are connected DSL to your router, your internet connection is always on, so once you have an IP address, you should be able to run all around the internet.
