OK I know you all got new toys ... what gadgets did you get?
My wife, in her brilliance, bought me a satellite radio ... one of these puppies, a Pioneer AirWare

As well as over 150 XM channels http://www.xmradio.com/programming/full_channel_listing.jsp?sort=number, you can record 5 hour of programming to play back at your liesure.
And NO COMMERCIALS.
OK, I know the cynical among you will say "but you have to pay for it Steve" (the monthly sub is about $10 or so)! But seriously, have you tried listening to the radio here in America? 20 - 30 minutes of commercials an hour. 20 minutes of inane chit-chat, and 3 songs if you are lucky. Oh - and a playlist of about 12 songs to be spread out through the whole week.
If you don't want to fork out for the radio, you can get a web-only subscription for about $7 and listen to it over the web :-)
My wife buys the best gadgets :)
