<img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/web/2003/christmas-greeting-2005.JPG" /><br /><br />For all of you who celebrate Christmas, I want to wish you a wonderful evening and a joyous Christmas day. The Thoughts Media Network will be taking the 25th off, but we'll be back in full swing on the 26th. I'll personally be taking a little time off and won't be back to posting again until the 2nd of January - I haven't had any real time off since February and am looking forward to relaxing, doing some reading, and playing a whole lot of Xbox 360. ;-) A few days after that I'll be at CES. Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year (since I won't be posting on the 1st either).

Are working CES or just there for fun?

Mostly for fun - the Windows desktop client group is bringing down a group of us "featured communities" for some Vista stuff and paying for our hotel/airfare. I wouldn't be going otherwise, Vegas is so pricey around CES time. I'll be volunteering here and there for a bit, but will be mostly on my own schedule.

What games are you playing on your 360?

Mostly Call of Duty 2 at the moment. I have PG3, Kameo, King Kong, and Perfect Dark Zero but haven't played them a whole lot. COD2 is SOOOOO awesome.

My gamertag is Tetsubo if anyone wants to add me to their friends list.

A little insensitive to forget about all your Jewish readers on this first night of Chanukah though.

Please don't let political correctness taint a simple gesture of good faith towards this community. I purposefully started my message with "...for all you who celebrate it..." to allow for those that don't celebrate Christmas. Sometimes things really are as simple as they seem. ;-)

I do wish all members of this community, of every faith, a very happy season! :D

Homeland Integrated Security Systems Announces Expanded Capabilities for the Cyber Tracker

HISS Announced Today That After Significant Testing With Its Development Partners It Will Be Launching New, Expanded Capabilities of Its Patent Pending Cyber Tracker

ASHEVILLE, NC--(MARKET WIRE)--Jan 3, 2006 -- Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc. (Other OTC:HISC.PK) -- The Cyber Tracker, using a Linux based operating system and a single-board computer in its configuration, will perform a variety of functions not commonly found in other wireless GPS devices.

While utilizing IDEN, GSM and CDMA, it will only be held in by the boundaries of the cellular carrier it is being hosted under. According to Ian Riley, CTO of Homeland Integrated Security Systems, "Our small, 5"x5"x1" portable computer device, which utilizes a high-speed Internet port, will allow the Cyber Tracker to integrate into a variety of devices, and perform numerous functions. In abundant applications, if something can be measured or monitored electronically, the Cyber Tracker will be able to locate and transmit the data wirelessly from virtually anywhere in the world."

The first of many external devices tested by Homeland Integrated Security Systems is a video camera which attaches to the Cyber Tracker through its onboard Ethernet port. The Cyber Tracker can capture, store, and transmit color video images wirelessly and transmit them in seconds to the end user.

According to Frank Moody, CEO of Homeland Integrated Security Systems, "The newly announced additional functions, outside of tracking, will allow us to market the Cyber Tracker as not only a real-time tracking device with voice capabilities, but also a data device. For example, when the Cyber Tracker is implemented into vehicles such as school buses and taxi cabs, it will allow a third party to monitor, photograph, record, and transmit information such as location, vehicle functions, and speed."

Utilizing an external port, the Cyber Tracker will be able to lock and unlock vehicle doors, turn engines off, monitor engine functions and outputs, display flashing lights on school buses, connect a laptop to the Internet and monitor remote devices wirelessly.

With the completion of the first production model units, Homeland Integrated Security Systems is discovering that with its open programming format, and its single-board computer configuration, that the versatility of the Cyber Tracker is potentially limitless. The tracking functions of the unit are just one very small piece of the units' capabilities. The data functions of the Cyber Tracker will allow the cellular and satellite industries to tap into sales which have previously been thought to be unattainable.

Homeland Integrated Security Systems Inc.'s Cyber Tracker will be featured at the 2006 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES®) to be held in Las Vegas January 5-8. Company representatives will be demonstrating the various features of the Cyber Tracker at Booth # 72029 in the Sands Expo &amp; Convention Center in Las Vegas. The CES is the largest consumer electronics show in the world, attracting more than 140,000 attendees from 115 countries witnessing the introduction of thousands of new products and technologies from more than 2,500 exhibitors.

Jason, you know what they say about books and their covers. :)

Homeland Integrated Security Systems Announces Expanded Capabilities for the Cyber Tracker

No, one cannot always discern the book by its cover, but when the books content is nothing but a slew, and I mean a slew ( red flag! ), of company PR's, its time to do a little more in-depth reading.

Like any SEC filings the company makes. Lets start FIRST w/ this PR...

" Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc. (Other OTC:HISC.PK - News) announced today that it has received its deposit from Pro.Sec for the purchase of its first demo unit. The blanket purchase order from Pro.Sec, a Middle Eastern security company, is for 200 trace detection units at a retail price of $29,900 per unit. The order translates to over $5.5 Million for the hardware.

The $5.5 Million order for the Cyber Noze Division Trace Detection unit is in addition to the $2.5 Million purchase order Homeland Integrated Security Systems received from Pro.Sec for 5000 Cyber Trackers. "

http://www.hissusa.com/press_20051005.html

The SEC filing ( 12/05/05 ) reality...

http://xml.10kwizard.com/filing_raw.php?repo=tenk&amp;ipage=3822304

' As of December 2, 2005, we have purchase orders amounting to $8.0 million. The products ordered have not been delivered. '

· There can be no assurance that Pro.Sec will purchase, or arrange purchases for, the remaining units specified in its purchase order to us.'

' Products purchased by Pro.Sec require an export license from the U.S. Department of Commerce for delivery. There is no guarantee that such license will be granted in a timely manner, which would require us to delay shipment of products to Pro.Sec. '

'We have a material reliance on Pro.Sec as a major customer of ours. This represents a concentration of credit risk. The loss of this customer could have a material negative effect on the future growth plans of our company.'

' While Pro.Sec has paid $26,970 for one Quantum Sniffer unit so far, there can be no assurance that Pro.Sec will purchase, or arrange purchasers for, the remaining units specified in its purchase orders. '

' This prospectus covers the sale of 187,000,000 shares of our common stock. None of the selling security holders are “affiliated” with our company within the meaning of the Securities Act of 1933, as amended.

The following table sets forth the name of each selling security holder and the number of shares of common stock beneficially owned by each selling security holder, all of which is included for sale in this prospectus. Assuming the sale of all of the shares offered by each selling security holder, neither of them will own any of our shares at the conclusion of the offering. '

Big Apple Consulting USA, Inc. (1) Consultant 28,000,000 shares
MJMM Investments, LLC (3) Consultant 10,000,000 shares
Management Solutions Int’l, Inc.(4) Consultant 10,000,000

Whoa, these 3 are in ' bed ' w/ each other! (red flag! )

http://www.bigappleconsulting.com/partners.htm

Does Big Apple Consulting have a ' history ' ?

Sure does. E-Rex and the ' Dragonfly ' is an example. Back in 2001...

BAD APPLES

by Lee M. Webb

" E-Rex Inc., an over-the-counter U.S. promotion with ties to Vancouver,
has fired Big Apple Consulting USA Inc., a Florida-based tout service."

" Mr. Meadows, a veteran stock promoter, has ties to a number of
companies involved with Big Apple, the successor to Stockbroker Presentations Inc. (SPI) and, before that, Stockbroker Relations Inc., boiler room operations controlled by Mr. Meadows. In March of last year, E-Rex issued six million shares to SPI. "Roy Meadows is behind the whole
thing," Mr. Shores says. "While they lied to us, telling us that the
prototypes were done, Big Apple was exchanging restricted shares for
free-trading shares, selling into the market and lying to us to get us
to buy. That's it in a nutshell." According to Mr. Shores, Mr. Meadows
unloaded approximately 2.5 million shares of E-Rex while Big Apple
pumped the stock. "It's the most sleazy business that I have ever come
in contact with," the ex-cop said. "It's just sleazy, everything about it is just sleazy. It's a pump and dump operation and, unfortunately,
there are probably well over a thousand victims of just this one
stock."

CES gives your company a spotlight, but one needs to entertain due caution.

Why did I bring this up?

Back in early 2000, I invested some hard $$$ in a company called Aqcess Technologies. In November of 1999 the companies handheld, the Qbe Genus, was voted "Best of Comdex" at the Las Vegas trade show.

http://www.qbetech.com/companyVisionary.htm

What eventuallly happened?

The founder of Aqcess Technologies, Jon Eric Prichard and his subordinates ( boiler room operators ) were found fleecing their investors and lining their own pockets. 1,485 violations of Corporations Code Section 25110 were charged, along w/ a $37,125,000.00 fine leveled against the defendants.

http://www.corp.ca.gov/enf/info/lit/aqcess/aqcess.htm

To this day, not a penny has been paid, and no jail time by anyone has been served.

No, one certainly cannot judge a book by its cover. :|

Wow, I guess you really don't like this company :D

That's ok I was talking about the Cyber Tracker anyways.

I happen to be a visionary and I see a great future for this device and company.

However as they say, only time will tell.
