Just wondering if anyone has tried this product for PocketPC or the desktop version? I was considering ACDSee, but maybe this is a good option....and its free!

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

I've tried the Pocket version - it's....ok. I've only ever used it as a viewer, at which it's probably a little inferior to SPB Imageer (which I also have). On the plus side, it's pretty quick.

It's a very capable image viewer, but probably doesn't meet up to the standards of Resco Photo Viewer and Spb Imageer. On a positive note, XNView is free, so it's well worth trying out.

I personally use XnV as a viewer AND to convert BMP screenshots to less space consuming GIF files. It also supports converting to jpeg and png.

It can also do some light editing like light/dark adjustments, color correction, image scaling and cropping and slideshow including creating one as a self executable file. Plus a few other light image editing tricks.

I also have Resco Photo Viewer but mostly use XnV.

XnView is a very nice app - you may want to read http://www.winmobiletech.com/PICVIEWERS/ on it and the alternatives.
