I use a program called DVD to Pocket PC. This program crashes often and does a bad job of audio sync.
I downloaded the demo version of this program to see if it was any better, however the DVD portion is disabled  This makes the demo useless to me if I have no way to do a comparison.

62mb Download!!!!!!
What's in it?
I use cablemodem, so I did not notice that it was that large.
I have the program running and I did not see any extras included.
Must be just a large program and maybe some extra dll's :?:

Would you guys know if the software supports English? I noticed that the language on the screenshot is different. I'd just like to make sure before I start the 62MB download. Thanks!

I did not go through ever screen, but what I saw so far is in English.

What's in it?
It includes Windows Media runtime distributions, and the interface is very graphically rich... lots of big pictures.

I could be polite here - but frankly I'm not going to be. I have one simple question for the developers of this program - 'Just how thick are you?'.
I'm looking for a decent and simple DVD conversion program - and this piqued my interest. Will I be considering buying it now? Of course not - because somehow the developers are smart enough to create a DVD conversion program - but too stupid, too monumentally dumb to realise that people will want to use the demo to see how a DVD conversion program ACTUALLY CONVERTS DVDS...!!!
Do they actually want people to buy their program? To consider it in a marketplace where their competitors actually have the sense to realise that a DVD converter demo should show how DVD conversion works?
Utter numbskulls...!

I totally agree..they should have made the "convert to dvd" option enabled..let the users be given the priveledge to convert only 15-16 mins of movie to try and judge the quality of the software.
Utter nonsence

:?:
So...How well DOES the conversion work? Their site makes great claims, but since Ican't demo I guess I need to find out if a normal person has actually done a test drive.
Thanks

I have to answer my own question...Sort-of.
I tested it on a Windows Media movie file I had kicking around. It seemed OK for that task, although there was some greenish cast that came in and out.
So I decided to buy it on Friday.
As of Wednesday I have not received an unlock code from the company.
Geez...Maybe (as offered up in an earlier post) these people really are clueless>
