If it's anything like the adoption of other BT components, the date may say 2007 - anyone want to guess when it would actually start being used by consumers?

Excellent! I know there was some talk of Bluetooth incorporating UWB a while back (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=39883), and I'm glad to hear that it is progressing. Now, we just need agreement on UWB...

Depends on if/when the manufacturers/OEMs/carriers decide to push it.

Remember: the typical human cannot think for himself/herself. ;)

I still wonder why bluetooth is always downplayed so much on this site...

Maybe Bluetooth took of faster in Europe and Asia...

Sure, I'll hazard a guess. It will be used by non-Microsoft OS using non-USAians in 2007. Some time later for the remainder ;-)

I dont know about that but there does seem to be a lot of Bluetooth devices about...
