The P100 will also be available in China and other Southeast Asian countries in December, according to company president Jack Tong. The launch of the GPS-enabled device is part of Dopod's plan to expand its product mix beyond its current lineup of smartphones and PDA phones, Tong stated."</i><br /><br />Otherwise known as the HTC Galaxy, Dopod's P100 is a GPS-enabled Pocket PC running Windows Mobile 5.0. It features a Samsung S3C2440M 300MHz processor, 32MB RAM, 64MB Flash ROM, a 2.8" 240 x 320 (QVGA) 64K TFT-LCD, SDIO/MMC, mini-USB, integrated GPS, IrDA (SIR), Bluetooth 1.2, 802.11b Wi-Fi, and a 1100mAh Li-Ion battery. Tong was quick to say that ten new smartphones and PDA phones could be expected in 2006. Next year should be a busy year for Windows Mobile. :)
