Chinese OS in Australia?

I have a friend I used to work with. He lives in Sydney and is Chinese. He wants to buy a pocket device and I'm trying to steer him away from PalmOS to PPC. He wants to know if he can get a Chinese OS device over here or if he has to order it from China. My guess is the latter...

All Pocket PCs sold here in Australia are in WWE (Worldwide English). So your best option would be to source one from China, Taiwan or Hong Kong.

Having said that, you might be able to find some local Asian-operated mobile stores around Chinatown in Sydney, and they may or may not stock Chinese-based Pocket PCs. It's worth a shot.
