I tried Pocket Breeze on my x30, and the device kept locking. I uninstalled the trial and went with SPB Diary, which runs a little more stable. The problem could easily be my device. It looks like a great product, and I might give the 5.0 trial a shot when my SPB Diary trial runs out. It seems to have a lot of overkill, but then again I quickly hit the ceiling of limits within my applications. I once thought I'd never need more than Pocket Informant, and I found myself wrong.

Try PocketBreeze again.
I'm sure you'll be happy with it.
Yes, I'm a little biased.
If you are having any issues with it, post in the forum and you'll get the help you need.

Anybody who has tried PocketBreeze in the past should give it another look. It's on steroids now. Anybody using 4.x it is well worth the upgrade price.

Also tried the 4.x version with issues under WM5. V.5 works great and I'm sold. Let me add my name to the list of people who suggest if you try it again if you were unhappy with 4.x.

Update in response to a later post: I'm using it on a K-Jam and it seems quite solid.

Very very good. Lots of different views via the comprehensive options too. Having the calendar display with the calendar screen is very useful indeed. Please try a demo 8)

I purchased 4.x a very short time ago because I liked it so much. I can't wait to see what the upgrade will be like!

I gave it a try on my Axim x50v and it slowed my performance to a crawl. And I even installed it to main memory. Anyone else experience this?

Works great on my 2750. Have heard good reports about it working well on a K-JAM too. Looking forward to loading it on my K-JAM when it comes this week! :)

Vertical tabs! The horizontal tabs in v4 was the biggest thing that made me switch to Spb Diary.

I will have to give this a run on my 6700, the 4.x version killed my device....... or at least seriously slowed it down until it was removed.

Possible cause of slow down could be related to how many days you have chosen to display.

I've got the X50 (520MHz) and I have had no problems. I can still play Need For Speed, so it doesn't seem like there's a problem.

so it doesn't seem like there's a problem

Thanks! That did the trick, everything is good now, seriously just kidding

I'm going to try displaying fewer days and see if that helps. I didn't change anything in the options, just stuck with the defaults. I also see you have the non "v" version of the x50, maybe there is something different going on with the vga version.

Could be, but your's should have more "horsepower" to deal with it. How many days do you have displaying? I've got 10 days and no slow down.

Besides phoneAlarm, this is the only plugin on my Today screen now. Everything else is in the custom tabs!

I am running it on my 6700 now with 3 days displaying....no slowdowns yet that I can see. I am going to add some custom tabs and get back to 7 days like I used to have and see what happens. It is really nice looking indeed! But the vertical tabs on my 6700's screen take up too much horizontal real estate.... oh well, tiny screen.

I have only been playing with this for a day, but it seems to work well on my Qtek 9100. It takes a little longer to startup after a soft reset, but that is to be expected. I really like how customizable it is. For instance, being able to make the tabs appear/disappear with the d-pad button is great. Add the ability make other today plugs (like Pocket Plus) a tab and you have a “must have” app in my opinion.

The only program that I use that seems to be affected negatively is TCPMP. Video is a little jerky now. If I temporary disable PocketBreeze, everything is back to normal. I can live with that considering all the benefits.

PB5 allows you to add Pocket Plus, and many more, as a custom tab. Visit www.SBSH,net for full details.

I have the trial version of PocketBreeze 5.0 on my Samsung i730. I have ContactBreeze that was running fine on the old version, but now when I try to click on a contact, I get the following message:

"Cannot find 'PITab' (or one of its components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and all the required libraries are available."

Any thoughts? It looks to me like it has something to do with Pocket Informant (which I have as well).

try changing the order of the tabs in PB so contacts isn't at the end.

installing PB5 brought my 4700 to its knees. A hard reset (and zero data) has made it usable again. It was due a reinstall anyway, it is a microsoft device after all.

I've read that ContactBreeze should be uninstalled prior to installing PocketBreeze 5.0. I've also noticed that PocketBreeze loads much slower, but once it's up things run fine on my 4155.

Yes, try uninstalling ContactBreeze before installing PocketBreeze. In addition, you might want to wait for an updated version of ContactBreeze (in a few days, I imagine).

I use Nice Start, with it's hardware buttons feature, to make the password screen a little more user friendly.

I find that after a soft-reset, it takes a while for the button presses to register in Nice Start. If I leave the unit unused for a while and the password screen kicks in, this is not the case.

The loading delay that you notice with the new PB5 version is actually something that we found and it is related to the way the new PB is reading the PI settings file, therefore, only users that set PB to use PI as their selected PIM will notice this loading delay.

The good news are that we know how to get this resolved and we will have this loading delay fixed with our upcoming update 5.0.01 that we hope to release pretty soon right after CB version 1.1.02 will be out in a few days :D

I have installed PB5 on HTC Blue Angel on the main memory to avoid any problem but still I got complain from my friends when I sent SMSs to them. Sometime they got twice messages when I sent only once.

I have both PocketBreeze 5 and Spb Pocket Plus 3.0.4 on today plugin. Anyone else see the same problem?
